This is the HWY 22 construction update for the week of October 15th.
Due to the wet weather, the completion of this project will be pushed back to the end of the month.
Contractors are continuing to dodge the raindrops. Paving operations for the 3rd layer will be ongoing for the week. This will be the final layer! Then intersections and driveways will be completed next. As a reminder, the road is still CLOSED. The paving contractor will have flagmen to protect their operation and you the motorist. There will be delays please use caution.
As a reminder, due to the nature of this project, residents are encouraged to take the nearest side road to get in and out of the construction zone.
